Leave New Moms Alone

When I arrived home with Zukko I immediately wanted to join some mom groups to just learn more each day. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely learn a lot but why are they so aggressive? Every mom is different. Every choice we make, every opinion we have, every thing we do is up to us and what’s best for our children. I don’t agree with a lot of stuff I see but people will be asking “should I get this for my nursery” and a comment will be like “I didn’t even use my nursery”. Ok…that’s not the answer she needed. It’s just always so petty and negative. I wanted to make mom friends but I’m nervous I won’t agree with too many things. I have strong opinions I know but I want to be around people that share those with me and we can talk about those things together without getting irritated. I know friends disagree and not everything is perfect but I’m not just going to be friends with just anyone ha-ha. If you’re a new mom, I bet you know exactly what I mean.
